After a Very Long Hiatus

I haven't updated my blog in a long time.  I have done some photoshoots here and there, but I have been pretty busy caring for two beautiful little girls.

I'm going to start doing photoshoots again from time to time and will start updating my blog again.  I'm hoping the day will come when I will be able to do photography full-time.  I've been making preparations here and there with that goal in mind, so stay tuned to see what the future will bring. 

Photoshoot with the Ives Family

My apologies for being so behind with my blog. I've been pretty busy with photoshoots and edits!

I had the opportunity to photograph the Ives family at the end of May. They were great to work with, and a family as photogenic as theirs makes my job easy! Thank you, Ives family, for the opportunity.

Photoshoot with Piper and Fisher

I had a great time at my most recent photoshoot taking pictures of Piper and Fisher. I've known their mom, Maggie, for quite awhile now, but this was my first opportunity to meet her and her family. Little Fisher was such a cooperative little guy, and because we share the same hair color (more or less) I was excited to put him in front of my camera. Miss Piper has a beautiful smile that her daddy helped coax out of her, and I think she really enjoyed feeding the turtles that live in the pond where we were shooting. I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I did taking them.

Bluebonnet Photoshoot with the Whites

I had the pleasure of photographing the White family in a nice field of Texas bluebonnets a couple of weeks ago. Taking pictures in the bluebonnets is a Texas tradition, and I think the reasons for that are obvious. I'm sure everyone will agree that Curtis and Hayley have a beautiful family, and the wildflowers were a perfect backdrop for their family photos. Enjoy!

Photoshoot with Chloe

Today I got to take Chloe's 3 year pictures. Chloe is my daughter, and it always seems so much trickier to get one's own children to cooperate during a photoshoot. It all worked out, though, and I think I got some really nice pictures of her to commemorate her becoming a 3 year old!

I was hoping to update my blog with gorgeous photos from today's photoshoot that I had scheduled. I guess the weather had other plans...

Photoshoot with Logan

Yesterday I had the opportunity to photograph Logan. He was so quiet and content during our photoshoot. He seems to just take it all in. We managed to work a few smiles out of him, but I think his serious shots are just as striking. Enjoy the pictures!
